Experience

I have a year's experience in teaching primary school students in Primary 1-6 English, Math and Science, both in home tuition and a tuition centre.
I coach PSLE students especially. Not only do I focus on teaching students the subject content but also the skills required to ace their papers with confidence. I believe that it is important for students to first of all understand the subject well before mastering the concepts needed to handle questions in the exams. Giving them moral support is also vital.
Most of all the trust and confidence they have in their tutor makes a world of difference in their interest in the subject being taught to them. I have helped my students improve 2 grades in their subjects. I have taught students all around the world from Singapore, Cambodia, Russia and the Middle East.

Commitment

I can tutor throughout the year including the weekends. On weekdays I can tutor in the mornings from 9am to 11.30am and evenings from 8pm to 9.30pm. I can start immediately.

Experience

I have one term experience private tuition experience with a primary 4 boy. His Math grade improved from a U grade to a D. Thereafter due to studies commitment, I have to end my tuition experience with him.
I also have a 2-weeks teaching experience in Don Bosco Technical School at Cambodia. In that 2 weeks, I taught them simple web design skills. By the end of the 2 weeks with them, they each had to design a website about themselves.
It is an enriching experience as most of them do not understand English, but through all the live demonstrations I provided for them, they managed to understand which tags does what and how to design a simple website on their own.
I believe in getting your hands dirty in learning. It is important to make mistakes along the way while learning. This way, students will be able to know their mistakes and flaws by heart and learn from the very mistakes that they commit and do a better job in the future.
