Experience

From 2013 to present, I am teaching at Fuchun Secondary school for E,A maths.
Previously, I have been teaching E and A maths in West Spring Secondary School and posted to MOE HQ til end of 2012.
I have been tutoring since 2004. I took a break in 2011 as I was concentrating on completing my Masters prog. All my students have attained good/excellent grades. Just to quote two examples of students:
e.g. 1: I was called by Mr Tan, then P/Evergreen Pr to help a girl who was failing all the subjects attaining below 20s. I gave her lessons almost everyday at her place for just 3 months before PSLE. The girl managed to score about 140 points for her PSLE and gained entry into Chung Cheng High (Yishun). Now the girl is awaiting to go to Poly after successfully completing her ITE course in Business Admin. Her success was purely due to the encouragement and support from us and her family.
e.g. 2: I taught a boy when he was studying P4 in 2008. He was the 2nd last boy in his class which was the 2nd best class in his school. I taught him patiently till he emerged as the 2nd boy in his class. Parents decided to stop as they thought he had established his foundation. He went back to square 1 when he had no assistance in P5. I was sought for help in 2010 when he was doing his PSLE. I assisted and helped the boy regain his confidence and boost his self-esteem to do well. He scored 210 points and is studying at Woodlands Sec.
