Experience

I've been tutoring my juniors for the past year and a half. Their grades have jumped tremendously from Cs and Ds to As and Bs. I have taught JC1s and JC2s and also secondary school students.
After A levels, I was selected by MOE to participate in their Teaching Internship Programme 2011. During the programme, i went through a teaching workshop at NUS organized by MOE and was also attached to Presbyterian High School for 3 months to teach Sec 3s and 4s.
I have also been accepted into NUS Faculty of Science to pursue my undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences in the year 2013.
I believe that I'm a kind and passionate teacher as I ensure that my students fully understand the concepts and ideas before moving on with the lessons. I'm also able to easily identify my students' weaknesses and work towards helping them correct their mistakes.

Commitment

I am in NS so weekends anytime is possible, weekdays after 7pm only. I will ORD in Mar 2013.

Experience

I am in NUS Year 3 (2012) taking Bachelor in Arts and Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology and Political Science.
I'm outgoing and friendly person. I enjoy preparing and conducting the lesson in an enjoyable manner which is easy for the student to understand and learn quickly. Knowing what are the important things to look out for in exams and ensuring that the student is able to enjoy learning are my strong points. I have prior experience for relief teaching in secondary schools, private group tuition for primary school and private individual tuition for secondary school students. Their grades have improved and their parents have given positive feedback.
