Experience

I am currently teaching a primary 6 girl and preparing her for her PSLE. Thus, I have gained resourceful insight and experience as to how lessons should be conducted, the various misconception and definitely, the attitude in learning.

I have been a committed tutor since the completion of my O'levels. I take pride in my students' grades as I believe it is a reflection of my own capacities and efficacy and therefore my students tend to perform and improve remarkably. I always seek to motivate them intrinsically and I am conscientious in guiding my students towards excellence.
Although I am pursuing a business-related degree and aiming towards a career in auditting in the near future, I am profoundly dedicated to teaching and coaching students. The tuition assignments I undertake are an invaluable channel to fulfill my passion for moulding young mind to realise their fullest potential.
Having taught for almost 5 years now, I believe that my track record is pretty impressive. I have worked with many international students and can manage both higher and lower abilities children. It is not in my nature to discriminate and therefore I view all my students as individuals with a bright future ahead if they are willing to put in hard work. Having said that, I will not hesitate to reprimand the child and provide timely feedback to Parents if they fall short of doing so.
I am comfortable with both group and one-to-one tuition setting. Besides the use of assessment and school textbooks, I also provide my own notes and excercises which are revised renditions of other top schools' notes and practice papers. I am able to produce notes for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels.

Commitment

As I am currently an undergraduate, the time available for tuition is rather scarce and therefore, I prioritise and take up tuition assignment based on students' own commitment level. I have made it a habit to inform parents/ students of my examinations 2 weeks in advance. I do not practice cancelling or dropping tuition even during my exam periods although, admittedly, I will reduce the frequency so as to facilitate my academia.
