I have been strong in the area of mathematics since young and have been the top performer during my secondary school days. Beside, I was one of the silver medallist in the Singapore Mathematics Olympiad (junior section) in year 2004. These achievement were recognized by my school and I was appointed as one of the student-tutor during my secondary school days. I choose only to teach secondary school elementary mathematics (preferably upper secondary) because I am very confident in it and that for 3 years, I have been teaching O level Mathematics and thus know the syllabus pretty well. Currently, Im majoring in Actuarial Science which is mathematics and statistics-intensive. I believe with my knowledge in mathematics, passion and patience for teaching, significant improvement will be seen in my prospective tutee's results.

I do have experience in teaching, be it to my peers or to kids from secondary school, i do not have experience in teaching primary school. I am flexible in my methods of teaching and I would use methods that suits the student more, different methods for different people. I am able to teach all 3 forms of science as I took chemistry and physics in my secondary school and took biomedical science in republic polytechnic, and in the electives modules I took, along with my year 1 core maths module, I believe I am ready to teach maths & A maths as well.
I am currently in NTU taking a degree in Applied Physics.
