I have taught 3 Secondary school students from Kent Ridge Secondary School A’-Maths for around half a year under the Kent Ridge Secondary School Peer Tutoring Programme, and have garnered positive feedback from my tutees. (Please see attached Letter of Acknowledgement from Kent Ridge Secondary School.) I am also currently teaching a Sec 3 Bukit Panjang Government High student Mathematics (A- and E- Math). One of my tutees from Dunearn Secondary School obtained A1 in his Secondary 3 Mathematics final examination in 2010.
I have taught Primary 1 English and Mathematics at Rainforest Education Centre in Jurong West and also have experience in teaching Primary 2 English and Mathematics.
I am approachable, dedicated and enthusiastic. I am also willing to learn, and if I am given the opportunity, I will take this job seriously and do my best. To ensure the student understands the concepts, I am willing to give the student extra coaching without additional charges. I don’t just teach the student how to get the answer, but the concepts involved and the general techniques required for getting the answer.
I have around 1.5 years of experience teaching A-Math, and can provide the tutee with schools' prelim papers and extra questions for practice. I have also, and am willing to, provide extra time without charging to ensure that the tutee fully understands the concepts. I can start working asap.
