I was an ex-contract teacher with MOE for 1.5 years where I received extensive and comprehensive hands-on training, teaching English, Maths and Science. I am familiar with the current MOE syllabus for lower and upper primary, as well as the marking scheme for Maths, English and Science for all levels. I will teach your child answering techniques that will enable him to score better in exams. I have also accumulated a wealth of resources during my stint with MOE which I will use to aid your child in their learning.

Personally, you will find me to be patient, dedicated and personable. I believe teaching is a two-way process that involves both the teacher and the student. No two pupils are alike in their ability. As a teacher, I strive to identify and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each pupil so that I may adapt my teaching methods to suit his/her needs.

I have previously taught English and CPA at secondary level but I find myself relating to younger children better. I am able to teach English, Maths and Science from primary 1-6.

Reason for leaving service: To pursue full-time tutoring where I can focus on one-to-one or small group coaching.
