I am an ex-MOE teacher with about 4 yrs experience in Primary school teaching, 11 yrs student care centre and 2 yrs in tuition centres. I taught in Ang Mo Kio North Primary School (now Anderson Primary School) for 3.5yrs and Pei Chun Primary School.
25 years tutoring experience.
I taught many batches of PSLE students, improving from fail to pass with a B/C grade. A china student scored B for English and A* for science after I taught him, as he used to fail English. Another Sec 4 boy got A2 for E maths and B4 for A maths which I had taught since Pri 6. He used to fail his maths too. Another girl I taught scored A* for maths and A for science.
Presently I have pupils who scored 95 for maths and 89 for science. another p5 girl also scoring 87 for both maths and science. A p3 girl scoring 99 for maths and 86 for science.
I am hardworking and patient. I tend to encourage my pupils to try their best. I have good teaching methods which I have used to good effect and accumulated over the years of teaching.
I hold a degree in Maths from NUS and NTU-NIE Postgrad Dip in Education.
