I have 1 year of experience teaching at GEMS Tutorial Centre, where I have undertaken numerous classes and students, ranging from Sec 3 to Sec 5, for all the three sciences, be it Pure or Comb. At one point nearing the O'lvl period, I was taking 7 classes a week, with an average of 3-5 students per class. One of the more notable experience was when I managed to pull a student's grade in O' lvl Chemistry from a constant fail up to his mid years examinations, to a consistent A1 by the time he took his prelims.
During the period of tutoring at GEMS Tutorial Centre, I was also giving private tuition to 2 students concurrently.

Commitment

I can start asap, will be able to continue until the Aug 2015, where I will still continue tutoring but taking lesser number of students. I will have a 1 week overseas trip around the end of Feb till start of Mar.

Experience

I am currently serving National Service and will end at 11 December 2014. I will be studying in NTU august 2015.
I have about a year of experience teaching primary school students before I enlisted and they fare quite well in their studies.
I also have taught 2 secondary students for Maths and Sci.
I believe that every students are teachable despite of their grades. As a tutor, not only I should help them in their studies, I have to engage their interest into the subjects they are weak in. Patience is what tutor should possess in order for their students to achieve good results.
