Experience

Tutoring is a whole new experience to me. Although I have yet to accumulate much teaching experiences, I am really sure of my passion in teaching. I believe that peer tutoring has also reassured my interest in teaching.
I believe in building a strong foundation and understanding of a subject in the student before he/she can excel in it. I hope that with my help, the student can slowly begin to love a subject and know that he/she can do well in it if he/she is willing to put in effort.
I am very patient. I will encourage the student to keep asking and clarify any little doubts because I believe that being not afraid to ask is an important key to success as well.

Commitment

I have been offered to study Biological Sciences in NTU and if all goes well, I would be starting school in August this year. I can start work any time now till then. I will consider again whether to continue giving tuition even after school starts based on the university workload. I will be more than willing to continue if I feel that I can manage all my tasks well.

Experience

I would not have the years of experience in teaching, but I am willing to go the extra mile to mentor and guide them to excel and improve in their studies.
I believed that every child is unique with their own needs and interests, thus it is important to be patient with them and I will ensure that I dedicate my time to allow them to learn as much as they can and at the same time improving on the weaker subjects. I do have experience teaching my cousins who are in their primary school thus I am aware of their learning pace.
In addition, I would say that different students have different way of absorbing learning points, therefore, I will analyse through looking at their strengths and weaknesses. From the analysis, I will see which teaching technique that suits him or her as some students are more of visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners. Therefore, I will implement the necessary teaching method according to what is best for the student.
