Experience

I worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) for 2.5 years in the Philippines to Korean and Chinese students. Their school levels range from Kindergarten to Highschool. Their level in the subject depends on their exposure in the academy, whether they have studied in school or in an English Academy. Some highschool students can be categorized as a beginner if this is their first time to study English.
Some of them stay in Manila, Philippines and some study via Skype on line for 25-50 minutes everyday except on weekends. We talk freely at the beginning of the class and then follow a book bought from their country. On Fridays, we take a test about grammar or the topic from the previous days.
It's a bit difficult to make a child speak a different language, such as English, so you need patience, creativity and time for them to have confidence. In time, they will become talkative sharing their everyday experiences and weekend activities without being asked.

Commitment

I can start immediately and is willing to continue until the end of this year, or longer than that if that's possible.
