Experience

I have ad-hoc experience teaching my friends during my university years. I usually try to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a student, and therefore then able to provide explanation in ways that a student is able to understand based on the train of thoughts developed by the student himself. I believe critical thinking is important as there may be more than one solution / one thought process to a solving a problem.

I have taught a number of 5 tutees over my few years of tutoring. I like to teach my students in a more interactive way. It is more crucial for the students to learn by themself then to be spoonfed. I have taught both primary , upper primary and secondary students. My forte is english, biology and mathematics. I have helped to pass a Pri 5 student who was failing at Maths to a B standard.
I will be going to NTU chemistry in Aug 15.
