Experience

Graduating from the 6 Year Integrated Programme in National JC, I am a recipient of the 2014 and 2012 Edusave Certificate of Academic Achievement, as well as the 2008 and 2007 Edusave Scholarship. Additionally, I undertook the prestigious H3 NUS-A*STAR NJC Science Research Programme offered only to academically outstanding students in NJC.
I discovered my love for teaching while tutoring a student for her PSLE, and have stayed with her up till now where she is in Sec 2. Beginning with minimal interest in studying, I eventually helped her achieve 2 ‘A’s and 2 ‘A*’s for PSLE. I enjoy working with children and am dedicated to bring out the best potential in each student.
Following the latest MOE syllabus, my lessons are tailored to suit the strengths and weaknesses of each student. Lessons can be focused on teaching concepts, helping the student with questions from his homework, or reviewing additional practices. Fees and lesson timings are entirely negotiable.

Commitment

I can start immediately and am committed to stay with each student for long-term tutoring.
Preferred timings are weekday evenings or anytime during the weekends.

I have 7 years of teaching experience in Si Ling secondary school. My teaching subjects in secondary school are Mathematics, Lower Secondary Science and Biology. I have taught many different levels and streams in the span of 7 years.
I am also home tutoring a St Nicks girl from Sec 1 to Sec 2.
I have been tutoring since I was an undergraduate from 2004 onward, tutoring subjects ranging from primary Mathematics and Science to secondary Mathematics and Sciences. I believe that every student is a unique individual and I work towards catering to the learning needs of the student. I have been successful in working with students ranging from the unmotivated to the gifted. I impart not only the knowledge they need to be successful but also thinking skills and attitudes that are crucial in developing them into successful students. Results are guaranteed if tuition sessions are consistent.
