Experience

Prior to my enlistment for National Service, I tutor a Secondary 3 N(A) boy. Tuition was mainly for chemistry, social studies and geography.
I also gave tuition as a volunteer to primary school children for Mathematics at Buona Vista Community Centre. My other 'tutees' as part of my volunteer work included tutoring 2 brothers with muscular dystrophy over a period of approximately 4 to 5 months, as well as primary school children at a after-school care for a period of 2 years when I was in JC.

Commitment

I can start in June 2015. Although I will be commencing my university semester in August, I am willing to commit and plan my schedule to accommodate tuition assignments.

I WAS AWARDED the Overall Top Student in the Arts Stream, as well as Top Student in H2 Literature, H2 Economics, and H3 Economics.
I AM ALSO THE AUTHOR of TheAlevelGuide Notes for JC Students. My notes have been very well-received by students, who find them very useful for their revision.
I HAVE TAUGHT General Paper in a renowned tuition centre, where I received very positive feedback from the students. My own private students have also improved remarkably, with my Sec 4 Language Arts student achieving an A1 in just a short span of two months. My Economics and General Paper students have also given me excellent feedback.
I WAS ACCEPTED to study Economics at the University of Cambridge. As such, I will be more than willing to help my students with the university application process, and offer guidance regarding university selection.

Commitment

I am able to start immediately, and am only available on the weekends. The first few months of tuition will be used to brush up on fundamentals, before focusing on exam skills later on.
Lessons have a minimum duration of 2 hours per week, so as to ensure that I can cover both content and exam skills without rushing for time. Rates start at $50 per hour, depending on location. (All my students will get my notes for free!)
