Experience

I have one year of experience in teaching secondary level students in mathematics ( lower sec, e maths and a maths). I have a Sec 2 and Sec 4 student, both in West Spring Sec school.
I believe that in order to score well in mathematics, one must master the concepts of the topics and the answering techniques. Therefore, I'll commit myself to ensure that my students know what's required in the examination so that they know what exactly to study and how to score in exams. I would usually find the roots of the mistakes that the students are making and correct their mistakes. This is so that they'll not make the same kind of mistakes again.
I am going to NTU Maritime Studies.

Experience

​I spent 5 years tutoring primary and secondary English and Mathematics in both private and classroom settings. I started out as a private tutor when I was in university to earn my own pocket money. When I graduated in 2010, I taught in a tuition centre where I first gained experienced teaching in a classroom setting. In 2011, I joined a publishing house as an English editor where I edited ESL (English as a Second Language) books for preschool and elementary school students in other countries. Currently, I am a Production Editor in an international publishing company. I now take care of publishing academic papers and journals all over the world.

In 2010 I travelled to Nepal as a volunteer to aid a village primary school in its infrastructural and educational developments. I am currently also serving in the children's ministry in my church, teaching young children about the bible and singing songs with them. I am a fun-loving person and believe everyone should enjoy what they do, including school. I find great joy in interacting with youths and nothing delights me more than helping my students excel academically while injecting fun in learning.

Commitment
