Experience

I was an ex MOE school teacher teaching Chinese Language in a Primary School. I had taught students of all primary levels in my course of teaching in school and as a full-time tutor. Being effectively bilingual, it helps me to engage students in their learning by using both English and Chinese medium to gain their understanding. In addition, being an ex MOE teacher has allowed me to know the current school syllabus well which helps me target at the students’ weakness and improved on them. Furthermore, one to one tuition has enable me to explain to the students effectively during the tuition as they have our full concentration and they will not be shy in asking questions as compared in school. Being patient and attentive has also helped me to build rapport with students during tuition and makes learning Chinese Language fun. Students have thus not only improved in their grades and also gained interest in learning Chinese Language.
