Experience

Although I have no real experience in teaching, I did some coaching to preschoolers before. I mainly taught them Chinese (as they were Americans) and Mathematics. Teaching preschoolers are challenging as they are not willing to sit still for long. However, I did manage to overcome that problem by catching their attention based on their preferences and rewarding them after they have completed their work.
I achieved Distinctions in Additional Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Combined Science and Chinese Language for my GCE O Level. Also, I scored A's in Investment Analysis And Finance, Financial Management Accounting, Financial Management, Statistics for Business and Mathematics for Business for my Polytechnic Modules. I am currently undertaking my Degree in Mathematics & Economics in SIM (University of London). Based on those, I find myself being a meticulous and analytical person since most of my distinction modules mainly involved calculations and math.
Besides, I am a really patient person. I am able to adapt well with different environments which means I can cater to different student needs based on their character and style of learning. I also like being around children a lot. Being able to teach them is a total joy for me.
In a nutshell, I believe I have what it takes to tuition a student despite not having much experience. I am a determined person where I will make sure my student achieve good grades and excel as a student.
