Experience

I had an experience of teaching Sec 3 Amath but it was only for awhile due to clashing schedule with the student. I believe in working with parents regarding their child's progress. I also believe in practicing and thus would encourage students to buy assessment books or practice papers for more practices apart from school work. Students are also not allowed to do school homework during tuition time unless they are unsure of how to do the work and need guidance. Even so, they should show some attempts to the work before asking for guidance to show that student has really tried attempting the questions and not just waiting for answers. I would also prefer giving homework because I feel that the short tuition timing is not enough to let them learn the topic as well as having sufficient practice.

Commitment

I can only start after August, only on weekends because I am currently studying in uni.

The method I employ to teach each child will depend on several factors. Such as the ability, character and learning style of the child. As a tutor I'm more of their friends than an authoritative figure.
I enjoy my work and students feedback to me they enjoy my style.
I am currently tutoring Chinese to 3 students from PLMGS, Kuo Chuan Presbytarian primary schools.
