Experience

i have had a year's experience teaching a primary 4 and a primary 5 child each whom have improved in their science from a borderline 'pass' to a low 'A'. I have also taught a PSLE student and helped her raise her science 'C' grade to a 'B' within 4 months. Also, for 2 years i have taught the P4 and P5 kids english and helped them raise their 'B' grade to an 'A' grade and helped them keep it stable till the end of year examinations.

Commitment

i can start ASAP and will only be able to commit fully till june/july. however, in the middle of may, i will have to take a week's hiatus for my exam which is yet to be dated.

I am teaching English and Maths at Pei Tong Primary School.
I have been teaching tuition for about 8 years. All my students improved by a few grades within half a year. I am special needs trained too hence I provide special interventions for students with special needs. I modify and tweak my lessons to suit the child's learning needs. Every child is different and has his/her own learning style. I believe a good tutor will work around the child's learning style and not force their expectations or standard methods on them.
All my students have graduated from Primary School last year hence I am looking for assignments. I have thought most of them from Primary 2. I usually follow up with my students until they complete their Primary Education. I am teaching Secondary 1 English for the first time this to build on my competency.
