Experience

I am a very patient tutor with a pleasant nature. I interact well with children, and I have a passion for language- English, to be precise! English has always been one of my strongest subjects, and it helps that I work so intimately with it in my current studies (Mass Communication). I deal a lot with writing, which invariably entails grammar, syntax and vocabulary -- some of the basic elements of a language. I teach by guidance and real life examples (story books, shows etc.) which help to add flavour to an otherwise dull experience!

Experience

I have one year experience teaching a primary 3 student express Additional Mathematics. My student have improved from F to at least B. & currently i am having another student secondary 3, teaching her express Elementary Mathematics. I focus on the level of understanding more than getting the answers correct. Parents may request my teaching methods to be strict/slow/fast base on the student's needs.
I am confident in taking E maths & A maths tutor assignments though i didn't score well for my O'Level. i am a student from Nanyang Polytechnic, currently this course i am taking, Engineering Informatics requires this module, Computing Mathematics that involves Elementary & Additional Mathematics. I have scored DIST for 1st half semester of the module, and A for the 2nd semester. I am well informed that my understandings is gonna affect the results of a student, so i'm confident to opt for the above subjects.

Commitment

I am able to commit long term and i can start asap. However, i will be away for shanghai's trip for 2th-15th sep 2 weeks time. And 6th to 13th Oct 1 week USA's trip. I will make up for the lesson that i will be away. Other than that, i will be available.
