Experience

I am someone who is very motivated and held consistently good results in both Raffles Institution (Secondary) and Raffles Institution (JC). Throughout my 6 years (total) in RI, I was involved in voluntary tuition (4 years) as well as mentoring my juniors (J1).
Upon graduating from RI (JC) in 2011, I assumed the role of a part-time tutor and had experience teaching both secondary and junior college students in subjects such as A math, E math, Physics and Chemistry. My teaching methodology places more emphasis on helping students to understand the most important concepts involved in different subjects so that they can tackle all questions with ease. Students under my tuition had mostly jumped at least two grade up.
Currently, I have a AJC student. I am very adaptable and is confident of handling students from various backgrounds.

Experience

I have less than one year of experience in tutoring the students. I have taught a primary school student and her grades improved from a fail to a high moderate pass. In addition, the grades for the secondary school students' that I have taught have improved from a D7 to B3/A2.
On the other hand, I would always like and try my best to understand the character and the study behavior of my students. This is because I believe tutoring isn's just about material work but also about understanding the weaknesses and strengths of the students in their studies. This would then allow me to tackle the problem and work on it with the student.
Now in NS, going to NUS FASS doing Geography.
