Experience

Hi. My name is Hui Ling. I am 19 years old this year. I am currently waiting for my 'A' level result.
I Previously enrolled in Jurong junior college. My main subject conmbination in JC are as follwed, H2 Chem, H2 Math, H2 Biology and H1 geography. I have also received Edusave Merit bursay award for 2 consectutive years, 2010 and 2011 respectively.
This award is given to students who is is within the top 25% of each level and stream in his school, as cited from MOE website.
In addition, during my collegue years, due to my enthusiaism and out going nature, i volunteered and selected to be a group orientation leader in 2011. Thereby, i am experienced in leading youths.
For my O level, I have obtained a raw point of 13, with A2 for all my subject ( Triple science, chinese, A.math and E.math and combined humanities- social studies and elective geography ) except for english which i scored a B3.
And as for my PSLE, I have scored an aggretrate point of 237, with a grade A for all my 4 subjects (English, Chinese, Math and Science.)
I occasionally tutor my younger brother, who is secondary 5 this year, in his studies as well.

Taught a Primary 4 student through to Primary 6 in Maths with his results improving through the years and now getting ready for PSLE.
Taught a Secondary 1 student for a year before ending due to inavailability of time slot.
Taught a Secondary 2 student through to Secondary for E-maths.
Having taught Maths for students from Primary 4 to Secondary 4, I have high confidence in ensuring that my students have improved grades as I reflect and discuss their results with their parents after each semester. This is to ensure continued progress.
My teaching style ensures maximum participation of the child and ensure knowledge at a understanding level is imparted.
Students will be given challenging questions after a topic which I would come up with myself to ensure better understanding beyond the context of the topic.
Assessments books will be purchased for the students, and homework will constantly be given. Students will be allowed to freely call/email me to ask about further enquiries as I have performed with previous students.
