I am a reliable and committed part-time tutor. I started to teach when I was at Secondary Three in River Valley High School. I would peer-tutor my classmates on mathematics and science. Moreover, I did Community Involvement Programme in helping the Lower Secondary students from the neighbouring school in math and science. This led to my interest in tutoring as a part-time job when I was at Junior College One in National Junior College. To date, I have about 5 years of experience in teaching O-level Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Combined Sciences, Physics & Chemistry. I believe that the art of scoring well in these subjects starts with the basic. I teach the students to understand the key fundamental concepts, give them many practices to reinforce the learning points and then guide them on how to answer similar examinations questions. Under my tuition, the students improved from their sub-par grades to their desirable marks. I hope that I can improve the academic results of more students in subjects like mathematics & sciences
