I have been tutoring for the past 2 years and I would like to tutor more students.

My strong subjects back in primary school and secondary school were both in English Language and Mathematics and therefore I am able to teach these subjects. Experience

I have many years of experiences in teaching Chinese, Higher Chinese and Maths for students from primary and secondary schools in Singapore. Before I came to Singapore in 1992, I was a lecturer from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I am patient, understanding and professional. I have the methods to train the students for the school exams up to A Levels. I advocate Interest Centred Learning and ensure that the students enjoy learning. I coached students via various teaching methods based on student's situation (his/her existing level, learning ability and needs) e.g. intensive interactive practices, top school papers, assessment books, paper analysis, memory techniques, etc.

My students achieved better grades (e.g. from grade C to grade B, from grade B to grade A). They have improved not only in grades but also in subject interests (Chinese & Maths) and learning skills. Some students were admitted to the elite schools in Singapore. Some got grade A in O level and A level exams.
