I have currently half a year of experience in tutoring a secondary school student for Maths. He got a B3 for A Maths for his O levels which was an improvement seeing that he was struggling around the passing grade during school examinations. Most of the time, I would move ahead of what the school is teaching. I will start by explaining briefly what the topic is all about as well as letting the student tryout a few examples. Any question or problem that needs to be solved (eg. homework) i will try to complete them as well by the end of the lesson.
