English-B3, Chinese-A2, Maths and A Maths-A2I was a teaching aide in my junior college preparing solutions of various JC physics preliminary examination papers for a month before NS. Thus, I have a strong understanding of the different types of questions set by the various Junior Colleges and am able to tackle them with relative ease. This insight is certainly valuable to any JC students who are in the current education system which emphasizes creative thinking and higher intellectual dynamism. I have worked with children of different backgrounds in my community involvement projects. Therefore, I am able to approach students with different attitudes towards learning. I have also taught a few JC and Secondary school students before and am thus able to understand their different needs. Most of all, I am passionate in my pet subjects, which are physics and mathematics, and thus am able to inculcate a passion in the students i teach. Hopefully under the influence of my passion, my students would be able to view the subjects as not just examinable textbook matters but as a route to knowledge that has direct relevance to their everyday life. I believe they will be able to share my excitement for these subjects and thus do well in their exams. I am available on most saturdays and sundays around the north east area and on some weekdays around the west area after 7 pm. I will be leaving Singapore in August/September 2010 for my undergraduate studies overseas. Thus, I can teach for at least a year.
