I currently have a few students, and i can say they are very satisfied with how much they are learning and improving. Obtaining 6 distinctions in the A levels, including in GP and E Lit, does provide testament to my familiarity and caliber in the academic subjects and process.
I have completed a MOE teaching internship in 2015 for the subjects of JC GP and English Literature, so i am well-versed in the teaching techniques for them. Certainly, I had stellar results in the subjects, consistently scoring in the top percentiles in a top JC. (>90 for Lit, and >95 for GP)
As for my teaching pedagogy, if you're looking for some guy who can give you concrete steps to improve, provide specific useful tips and pitch my lesson to your very needs, then I'm the guy for you. My lesson is simple, it uses a three-pronged approach: Content, Language, Critical Thinking and Articulation. So i would be helping you hone your skills in the 3 aspects, giving you an invaluable trajectory to follow to see real improvement! My teaching style revolves around equipping the students with the essential skills that will propel the student to eventually be able to feel confident about the subject. I believe that the main purpose of tutoring is to highlight the nuances and insights of doing well in a subject to students; this will make it a lot easier to target specific areas to improve.
Teaching is of great interest to me as I feel a strong and fervent inclination to share whatever insights and tips I have chanced upon when I was a student. I I am also very familiar with the syllabus and requirements since I just graduated.
