Experience

I'am Nuriman Currently i'am working as a Customer service Officer in the morning and i'am teaching music in a music school at night. I also have a couple of private guitar students that i am currently teaching during the weekends. I have been teaching part time since 2010 teaching students both on a individual level as well as group. Currently i am looking at making teaching my full time career. I have grade 5 in ABRSM music theory as well as grade 5 in LCM classical piano and i am looking at taking the grade 8 exam in guitar studies next year as well as taking the AMIS MOE certification. My experience in playing the guitar , performing and composing is about 15 years. I only took formal music education in 2009.

I will be doing free lance music teaching starting 1st January 2015 but i will be out for reservist for the first 2 weeks of March 2015

Experience

I have 2 years of experience tutoring primary school students. Most of the students were weak in their respective subjects but after tuition, they have shown significant improvement in their examinations.
I have just finished my A Levels in River Valley High School and I am hoping to provide tuition for students who will be taking the upcoming A Level examinations. Having just completed the examinations, I am familiar with the demands of the A Levels examinations. I will aim to help JC students to not only cope with the demands of the syllabus, but also help to make studying for the A Levels more effective and efficient. Exam skills are as important as understanding the content for the respective subjects, especially time management. Time management is very important in the examinations and I will teach students to manage their time effectively in the examinations.

Commitment

I can start tuition as soon as possible in the short term as I am not tutoring any students currently due to my A Level examinations. However, I am enlisting for my national service (February) and will only be free on weekday nights. As such, I would prefer tuition to be on weekends. I will also be away for a week during the December holidays with my family.
