Experience

I had always wanted to help kids struggling with their academic results to excel in it. By simplifying what they learn in school through mind maps and other interactive resources. I had the chance to tutor 2 boys at the secondary one and primary six levels respectively and They eventually did much better in their studies. Especially in the subjects i taught them; maths, science and tamil from SA1 to SA2.

Experience

I was also hire by a MOE special programme teaching a group of Malay kids English.

Experience

I started home tuition during my undergraduate years in NTU, which was 20 years ago. I derive satisfaction seeing my students excel in the subjects that I have tutored, as making them successful is what matters to me. Being a responsible parent and tutor, I understand the level of commitment goes beyond not only providing the required syllabus, but I will encourage good family values as well as build their sense of responsibility and level of confidence. Being an adult trainer, I understand the need of teaching using the 21st century teaching methodologies for effective learning. I will share my teaching strategy to the parents and students to form a collaboration to achieve the academic goals together.
