Experience

I've been teaching music in public and private schools for almost 4 years.
My private piano students have all attained at least a merit/credit in their ABRSM exams.
I believe it is important to nurture the passion of the subject within the student, for him/her to succeed in it. Hence, my teaching methodologies are catered to each student individual.

Commitment

I'm currently a full time MOE teacher at a secondary school, thus would prefer only to teach weekday nights. Weekends are subjected to availability.
In August, I return to NIE to further my studies. Hence, my timings may be more flexible.

Experience

I have been teaching for 11 years. Recent students from Boon Lay Sec, Jurong West St and Clementi Town Sec schools.
At present i have both secondary and primary level students. I have done relief teaching and am familiar with the MOE syllabus. At present i have Primary 6, Primary 5 and Primary 4 students. I also have Secondary 1, 2 and 4 level students i am teaching. My students grades have improved very well and i have been teaching them for few years now. I tend to observe the students capability and level of interest and understanding in the subjects on how to make them feel at ease during tuition to help understand and grasp the subject technically well. I have pasaion towards teaching and when my student excel and improve it gives me a sense of achievement in my job. I am keen in pursuing my profession further in the future by lecturing.
