Experience

i am currently majoring in bachelor of Mathematics and Economics and have 3 years of teaching experience. I cater and alter my teaching methods to my students needs in terms of their learning ability and how fast they advance from their current state.
I taught a private student at her O level year. Focusing on her weakness, and building up on her strength, she made an improvement from C6 to B3 as compared to her previous O level year.
I also taught an A math normal academic student in 2013. Within a period of 6 months, she results improved from D7 to A2.
I have taught more than 20 students within a span of 3 years, each making an improvement. Currently, I am teaching 2 Amath N level students and one Secondary 2 student.
In addition, I give extra time outside tuition via Whatsapp if the students have any burring question they feel the need to ask. I will not answer their question directly, but prompt questions that will spark their thinking.
However, despite my effort, I would say my students need to know their own effort counts.

Commitment

I am able to start asap and will stop taking tuition assignments in December as i have up coming prelims in February and major exams in May. I will be able to continue to take on more students after May.
Also, I would prefer to take one Jc students next year.

- In 2016, have 5 sec 1-5 tutees. np. Had a student who stopped school for a year due to depression. Had to go thRU Sec 3 syllabus for English, A & E Maths & pure Chem for Sec4. Top O level TKGS. Have also taught before private candidates who is taking their O levels in the same year
- In 2015, Have a sec 2 tutee from TKGS. Have few other tutees ranging from Sec 1 to 4. 4 Sec 4 completed O levels in 2015. Have produced top students in N levels and in tanjong katong girls sch.

I have been teaching since I was doing my degree. Thus, I am constantly in touch with the syllabus. Through my 19 years of teaching, results have shown - I have students who top their school for O level & some have achieved quantum improvement, from a F9 to A1. I have been lucky to have found the joy in teaching. In fact, I am still in touch with many of the kids I have taught.
My China student whom I taught English and preparing for AEIS had topped her class.
