Experience

I started teaching since 1995 when I was in NUS. My focus now is tutoring students from Sec 1-5. I have coached many students from F9 to A1/2. One of my strengths is I am able to connect to students, motivate them and bring up their self-esteem. I am a certified NLP Practitioner, Access Bar Practitioner, 5 PATH Hypnotherapist, and hence I am able to use different modalities in my communcations with the students. My style of teaching varies depending on the tutees' learning styles. I have also coached students with learning disability like dyslexia, ADHD, ADD. A few students have also gotten the most improved award in school for Mathematics.

I have a total 13 years of teaching experience of which 6 years is here in Singapore. My students age range is from 4-50 years old. I have had few students with learning difficulties that i helped achieved good results in their music exams. I am friendly, flexible and employs various approaches in teaching.
