Experience

I am currently providing tuition to students in pro-teach student-care for the past 1 year. I have taught from primary 2-6 in English ,Maths and Science. The last year that I have taught students from Primary 5,I have seen their Grades jump from a C to B,or some even an A. I enjoy teaching children, clarifying their doubts and seeing their results improve. The first lesson will be a prep talk in which i will set goals and expectations for the child for each lesson. I will also find out about their learning style and weaknesses. I will monitor the child's performance constantly and update their parents on the progress of the child. I hope to see that the child makes improvement on their results and do well for their exams ,and make learning fun for them.

Commitment

I can start asap and i am available on most weekday evenings and weekend mornings. However,if there are any changes to the schedule,i will notify the parents beforehand and fix another make up day.

Experience

I have 4 years of experiences in teaching primary and lower secondary school students. I was an ex member of mentoring club in Nanyang Polytechnic. What i did is to conduct remedial on the saturdays in Yishun Secondary School. I prepare practice and exam papers for students as well as guiding them through the worksheets. Apart from setting of papers, i engage the students with subject-oriented games so that they will enjoy the period of studying.
I have taught children from kindergarden and primary school as well. Children of that age normally have short attention span, I will usually start off my lessons with videos and games which are related to what they are studying first. As much as possible, i will get my students to engage in activities so that lessons will not be plain boring for them.

Commitment

Will be committing as a full time tutor in April. I am still able to take up assignments this month but preferably last week of March because i'll be going for a short trip in mid of the month (March).
