Experience

I started to learn Piano from Professor Xu Yue Chu and Jin En Hui in Guangxi Arts College at the age of 7. From 1988, I participated in various competitions and performances which helped to improve my performance skill. In 1996, I passed the grade 10 Piano exam by Guangxi Arts College with excellent result.

I came to Singapore in 1998. I joint the Chinese Orchestra of Ngee Ann Secondary School and performed solo and concerto piano in various public and school concerts. Upon graduation, I continue to perform in public concerts held by the Chinese Orchestra from other schools and associations.

Moreover, I have more than 10 years one to one teaching experience in Piano lesson. I was a part-time Piano teacher in Cristofori music school. I provide training in Piano practical, theory, aural and sight-reading. I am able to teach in both English and Chinese. My students level range from beginner to Grade 8, as well as leisure learning for adults.

Commitment

I have great passion in teaching Piano as I love to share my knowledge in music to others who have interest. I am confident that I have the skills and experience to be a good Piano teacher.

Experience

I have had experience mentoring Primary 6 children as part of a weekly CIP programme organised by my school back in junior college. My teaching method would vary depending on the needs and calibre of the students, building on what is taught to them in school and reinforcing through practices.
