Experience

I had two years experience with a P4/P5 student and her grades were within Band1.
After teaching a Sec 4 girl for a year, her E Math results improved from less than 10/100 until a C6.
I also taught another Sec 4 girl for a year which resulted in an improvement in her Physics and Chemistry grades from B4 to A2.
Just last year, I taught an N level student Mathematics and another O level student Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The latter improved from C6/D7 to B3.
For JC students, I tutored 1 JJC girl for about 4 months.
I believe that as long as one is willing to learn, he/she can achieve good grades. Generally, I would always start with the basics and make sure that the student achieves a strong foundation before moving on as this would ensure a smoother learning process. Most importantly, consistent practice is needed, especially for Math.
I am currently in NUS studying Environmental Sciecne and Engineering, final year in 2013.
