Experience

I have been giving private tuition to primary 1 to 6 students (mainly in Maths and Science) for the past 7 years. I have always followed my students till they complete their PSLE. Most/all of them have improved greatly not only in their school work and also their character building. Even till now, I do keep in contact with some of them.
I usually go through the basic concepts with my students first and then let them try assessment books on their own. At times, I may set mock tests for my students to try; with a mixture of basic and higher level questions. I would also make it a point to go through all the corrections with my students, ensuring that they have thoroughly understood the correct steps to solve the problems.
My current students include a P5 girl and P6 boy, both from Nan Chiau Primary School. I teach them Maths.

Commitment

I can start asap and will be able to do so until end of this year (2012).
I intend to continue with NIE after I graduate from NUS this December too. Even so, I hope I can continue to teach.

Experience

I have Experience teaching two secondary 5 and a secondary 4 Combined Chemistry/Physics, Their grade improve from D7 to B3 and one of them got A2 for their O level examination. Also taught a Primary one kid English and Maths, her english was weak when i start teaching her but as time progress her english improve from borderline pass to Band 2. Her Maths was in Band 1.
I am also tutoring a PRi 5 maths kid at Choa Chu Kang.

Commitment
