Experience

I have 6 years of part time tutoring experience and graduated from NUS in 2011.
I have taught various students with different capabilities and different attitudes. I have tutuored students from kindergarten, all the way up to junior college. Recently, I taught a lower secondary student who is dyslexic. she had been failing all her subjects. However, after tutoring her for several months, her grades improved to a B.
I conduct bi weekly tests to guage the understanding of my students and I also prefer to follow up with the parents to better understand their children's progress in their studies. I prefer to approach the attitude of the student first, understand what the students lacks in and help him/her in what they lack.

Experience

I have 7 years of experience as an MOE teacher, teaching mainly Elementary Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I have taught all streams( Express, Normal(A) and Normal (T)) at all levels (Sec 1 to 4).
I left MOE in Feb 2010.
