Experience

I used to teach Vietnamese for a British male director of a company who was working and living in both Vietnam and Singapore. He’s from the UK. We worked together for nearly one year and became friends after that.
I taught him how to use Vietnamese correct grammar and glossary in both daily and business situations. Most of the time, we worked with conversations, then my explanation and correction for his mistakes, and lastly, lots of homework for him to self-practice.
I also taught Vietnamese for a Singaporean student in NUS to help him prepare for his final examination.
In addition, I used to be an English tutor in Vietnam. I helped students prepare for the Vietnamese University Entrance Examination.
Both of whom I have taught when meeting me for the first time felt very frustrated with learning Vietnamese. However, after a short time working with me, they don’t feel afraid of the language anymore. I think this is the most important thing to excel in a language: love it!
For all the reasons above, along with my passion for teaching and helping people learn a language, I believe that I will be a good tutor.
