Experience

I will teach your child/ or yourself to have a facility with the English language. Under my tutelage, I will teach you how to write, techniques in answering examination questions, and speak fluently- so fluent, in fact, that you will impress the people around you.
I am mature, patient, a hard worker, and I definitely do not judge. I take on all students of all abilities, from all schools and levels, and from any socio-economic background. Over the past year, I have been giving free home tuition to a disadvantaged Secondary 3 boy from China, and I have seen him grow from strength to strength as a student.
I am currently a Sociology major at the National University of Singapore, and my credentials in English are impeccable. I have won national and international awards in writing, academic prizes in the language, and have spoken to thousands of students in my former secondary school and junior college numerous times as a Student Councillor and a commentator during school events.
Because I promise results and sincerely want to help students become proficient in the language, my rates are negotiable. I visit all areas in the East but will also consider teaching in all areas.

Teaching Method: I believe that there is only so much any teacher or tutor can do. Ultimately, it depends on the students themselves to decide whether or not they want to excel in a subject.
During the tuition sessions, I won't be there to teach concepts (this is the job of school teachers) but to reinforce them and make them easier to understand. The students are required to come prepared and ask me any questions which they don't understand. This will make these sessions more fruitful.
