Teaching Method: I believe that there is only so much any teacher or tutor can do. Ultimately, it depends on the students themselves to decide whether or not they want to excel in a subject.
During the tuition sessions, I won't be there to teach concepts (this is the job of school teachers) but to reinforce them and make them easier to understand. The students are required to come prepared and ask me any questions which they don't understand. This will make these sessions more fruitful.

Commitment

I can start asap and and will be able to commit until next year May. During December this year, I might be going on a short trip.

I am now working as an Instructional Assistant at Singapore American School.
I graduated from TP in 2005 and NIE in 2006 with a Diploma in Education.
I have worked with both mainstream and special needs students.
In mainstream schools, I worked with students aged 13-16 years old as a Home Econs/Food & Nutrition Teacher in a Secondary school for about 5 years.
Whereas in a special needs school, I worked with Autistic students aged 7-11 years old as a Relief Teacher for about 1 year.
I have been private tutoring part time for the past 9yrs. I enjoy teaching, am very
passionate and experienced in tutoring primary school students. I am also patient in handling weaker students and committed. Also, I am able to establish a long term relationship with the student/family.
