Experience

I have less than a year of experience in teaching. I have teached children in pre-school and primary school. Experience

I am currently teaching a primary 5 student English and Foundational mathematics. She is a slow learner, and is uninterested in studies. I try to use methods to help her remember things more easily, and test her repeatedly on things we went through before, progress is slow but positive.

Last year, I taught a primary 5 student English, Math and Chinese for about 6 months before stopping to prepare for my Alevels. His mother was very satisfied with my work, whereby she complimented my meticulous comments and efforts in marking compositions. My tutee was also always eager to attend my lessons, he also reflected to his mother that he prefers my lessons over his previous tuition classes.

I believe that nurturing interest for respective subjects in my students at a young age is more important than obvious grades improvements as progress will only be obvious when my students are motivated. Nonetheless, I believe that my patience and sincerity would be of help to my potential students.

Commitment

I can start asap and will be able to commit minimally until university starts. I will try my very best to manage my time well so as to continue teaching my students at least until the end of this academic year.
