Experience

I have worked at After School Care, attending to the needs of a group of 20 or more lower primary students (P1-4). I taught them English, Chinese and Maths. I have learnt how to adopt different teaching methods based on the needs of my students.

Commitment

Experience

I graduated from Anglo-Chinese Junior College where I took on the study of Chinese Literature. I scored 100 percentile in J2 prelim exams for this subject. Besides, I scored A1 for both Chinese and Higher Chinese in the O\'Level exams.

I used to participate in the VIA project in the Aldersgate Centre located in the Fairfield Methodist School (Primary) where I helped the children with their school work, especially Chinese. I love working with children and I always ensure that the children are engaged and they have an interest in learning Chinese.

I will be using multiple materials such as sample essays, articles and pop quiz to teach my students. I personally believe that it is very important to read if the students want to score well for Chinese. This is because reading would expand their vocabulary bank and broaden their knowledge so that they have sufficient things to write in their compositions. However, I will not force them to read, rather I prefer to do article sharing where the students can read whatever they are interested in and share with me. Meanwhile, I will be sharing my articles with them.

Last but not the least, I personally believe that practice makes perfect. Hence, I will leave some homework for the students to complete. However, I will not give a lot of homework because I think it is very important to ensure that the students have time to digest the things they have learnt and they have sufficient rest.

Commitment

I can start as soon as possible and I will not cancel the lessons without notifying the students. If there is any changes or any urgent matters which need to be settled, I will update the students one week before the lesson.
