Experience

I have tutored a P6 student and a sec 4 N(T) student Mathematics. The P6 student improved from around 60 marks to scoring A at PSLE. The sec 4 student immigrated before taking his N levels but has shown slight improvement and interest when I was teaching him.
I was previously in the MOE Internship teaching programme, and I was posted to East View Secondary. I taught Sec 1 N(A) Mathematics and Sec 3 (Express) English for 3 months. I have received good feedback from my teacher mentor and students regarding my teaching style.
I am a cheerful and optimistic person, and I am patient. I like interacting with children and have an interest in making a difference in their life.

Commitment

I can start asao and will be free on most days except Fridays and will able to do so until August. After August I will only be able to take up sessions on weekends and on weekday nights.

I have been starting as a part-time tutor first while I'm schooling in Polytechnic. After I had graduated, I have become full-time tutor till now. A total of 6 years teaching experience. Currently I have different levels of students ranging from Primary 1 to Primary 6 and Secondary students as well. Mainly my students will be Primary school students.
My way of teaching will be looking into and identify the student's weakness area and drill from there by providing methods to tackle the questions. I believe in being firm yet providing them a delightful learning journey which is very vital for their education.

Commitment

Since I am a Full-time tutor. I have the utmost commitment. During school holidays, arrangement of the lessons can be flexible and be discussed.
I could start immediately if the timing and dates is able to fit in to the schedule. Preferably one lesson per week and per subject. So that result will be deliver effectively and will be more focused.

Experience

I was awarded the MOE scholarship in 2004 and have started giving tuition in mathematics since then. I am NIE trained and was a secondary school teacher from 2008 to 2012. During my stint as a teacher, I had taught all streams and levels in mathematics (both A and E Math) and was a subject head.
I also participated in MOE HQ meetings and briefings on how Cambridge markings are carried out for specific questions in A/E Math so as to guide students in scoring for the subjects. Both my students in school and students via private tuition have shown tremendous improvement in their grades for math. I have been approved by MOE to rejoin the service as flexi-adjunct teacher.
I taught at Hwa Chong, Admiralty Sec, Riverside Sec and Woodlands Sec schools.
For home tuition, I also tutored IB / IGCSE students from ACS international school and UWC.

Commitment

I can start asap and will be able to do so until the end of the year. I will be going for a short holiday (1 week) in December and will be able to resume tuition thereafter. I am able to continue providing tuition in 2016.

Experience

I am patient and responsible. I will make sure the students grasp the concepts well before moving on. I'm also patient when it comes to repetitive explanation, as i believe understanding instead of memorizing is extremely critical.
