Hi,
I am an undergraduate student from NUS studying Chemical Engineering. To be honest, I am looking to be a tutor to earn some extra cash. This will also be my first time teaching tuition to anyone. However, I am confident in my knowledge in areas of mathematics and sciences (physics and chemistry). I will definitely research and prepare beforehand for every tuition lesson. I was also previously from Hwa Chong Institution. Hence, I am accustomed to the rigours of secondary school life and can hopefully impart some of my knowledge to students. As I am also a student currently myself, I feel that I can establish better rapport with students. I also believe myself to be a patient person, which may be an added bonus as a tuition teacher.

Experience

I have been teaching since my army days, both privately and in tuition centres. I have taught students from primary 4 to JC 2. One of the most remarkable improvement I've seen was from a sec 1 boy. I taught him for a month before his PSLE. His Math improved from a just-pass grade to a B. I continued teaching him when he was secondary 1 and he scored a high 87/10 for his math final paper.
I am intending to type out my own notes. (Open for discussion with the student/parents after the assignment is confirmed -do not wish to end up typing the entire syllabus and end up not using them.)
