I'm Lix, a Chinese Singaporean, graduated from National Taiwan University, reading Chinese Literature. Last September, I moved back to Singapore, after spending 4 wonderful years in Taiwan.
Prior to studying overseas, I was a journalist for 2 years writing for Chinese evening papers and freelance for magazines. Before I left for Taiwan, I also had been teaching Mandarin 1-to-1, the children I taught then aged from 6 - 15 years old, both locals and foreigners (Australians).
As I funded my own school fees and expenditures, I taught both Mandarin and English, (academics and conversational) in Taipei. My tutees consist of Taiwanese, Japanese and Americans, both children and adults.

(Current teacher in st francis methodist (int'l sch). Teach sec 4. St Francis is an international school.. We do offer igcse but we follow edexcel syllabus therefore we do not follow the international grade system. The content is the same. Tutor currently teaching one year 9 igcse student in jb.)
I am a scholarship recipient for my degree course in Biomedical Science and I have vast knowledge in Chemistry and Biology. I have been teaching in various international schools including one in Bandung, Indonesia.
I am a patient teacher and committed to help the students to excel in their studies by providing one to one coaching. I do prefer one to one coaching compared to group teaching as I am a strong believer that each child should get one to one attention during tuition classes to gain the full benefit of the lessons to improve themselves in the subject.
I am a Malaysian and currently I am working in St Francis Methodist School and I am teaching sec 4 and pre university students chemistry. I am also teaching Ausmat programme to students and our school is one of two school that are providing this pathway to enable the students to be accepted directly into first year degree course in Australian Universities.
I do handle weak students and therefore i am very specialised in handling low performing students to develop interest in the subject and improve them in their academic achievement progressively.
I have taught a Sec 3 student Pure Chemistry last year and she managed to improved her grades from D to B and I have helped five students to prepare for their O levels examination in 2014. I enjoy working with young students and most of my students now are studying abroad in various courses in respectable universities in Canada, Singapore, Australia, US and others
